The trick with Trump like all politicians is to look at what they do and ignore what they say.

Trump was responsible for $1 billion to Ukraine in his first term.

Hard to say if TheDonald was tricked or tricked us himself. At least I know that his opponents are good in ruining things and the passing the torch just in time to blame their successor. Same in Germany where traditional parties are weak and AfD gains more votes - magically as soon as they get the majority the pension system, bad infrastructure, energy system etc. will blow up and everybody will blame AfD for it. It's basically this good cop/bad cop system. If you lose your 10+ years proxy war just let TheDonald win, hide yourself for some time and let him ask for immediate peace (when you run out of ammo) because of all the dying soldiers presented to you by Ms. Nuland. Take a cookie. But Donald just doesn't have the cards to dictate anything to Russia. I guess he will find out soon and ideally walk away from this conflict to let it be resolved by the Russians. And then globalists/democrats will run around and tell everybody they would have won, he's weak against Russia, he betrayed the US etc. They pause, and retry next term after Donald the fall guy is gone.
