You may think this is a stupid or irrelevant question to be asking when news is just breaking that Iran has launched some per-emptive strikes on US bases in the Persian Gulf and Jordan, but trust me, it is a very relevant question.
Thanks, Larry! The devil is in the details. I understood the general sweet-vs-sour picture after listening to Chris Martenson, and now you have filled in a lot of details, including some of the geographic ones.
We will never get this kind of information from the mainstream press.
One side of me wants the MSM to give up the ghost, dry up and blow away. However, the cynic in me cautions that if that were to happen, all the nefarious capital that keeps them going would seek out the Alt Media, and co-opt and swallow all the integrity that makes it worth watching. Whatever you do, please stay independent!
Thanks. Excellent analysis. One question: diesel fuel may be short, as Russia has banned export temporarily because of the Ukrainian strikes, even if the damage is small and refineries are repaired quickly. How is the international diesel trade: is the US a net importer as was the case before? What could replace Russian exports? Bearing in mind if I am not mistaken, that Europe has become a large buyer of diesel fuel. and was a large buyer of Russian diesel fuel.
