It's the same playbook before any US invasion:

Saddam had Weapons of Mass destruction

The Taliban were responsible for 9/11 before the 2001 invasion

Maduro is a Narco-Terrorist linked to Tren de Aragua. Next?

Works like a charm every time.

(I did a piece on this in my most recent Substack:

Yes, I think so too Larry. And thanks for disabling the block on commenters like me, that don't pay anything. I appreciate it.

How many known regime change operations has the US successfully concluded since 1945? If I were a betting man my dollar would be on US involvement in all efforts to remove Maduro. Charles Koch needs Venezuelan oil.

The "narco" aspect also aligns with the Syria playbook - Syria was declared (or re-declared) a narco state as well, supposedly because Assad and his family were running a captagon empire.

If I remember correctly, Biden let in 600,000 Venezuelans and gave them Temporarily Protected Status. Convenient is Larry's theory is correct.

Agreed about the "narco" designation. US federal government people and members of the media frequently attribute criminal violence in the US to Venezuelan gangs. I am thinking that this labeling and scare-ing has been a planned build-up to a regime change. They want the public to support it.
