As Larry wrote, with the Houthis' blockade at the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, Saudi crude oil will have to be shipped through the Suez Canal.

A primary trade route for crude tankers is the Middle East Gulf to East Asia (the world’s busiest crude corridor), With that route closed to Saudi tankers at both southern straits, exit through the Suez Canal will add over a month's time to the journey to Asia.

Another hindrance to Saudi oil shipment through the Suez is tanker size. The two largest tankers cannot fit through the Canal.

Here is information about tanker types and sizes, explained clearly:

Smaller batches of crude oil out will put an added strain on the energy market.

Putin is an Oligarch. He has to deal with other Oligarchs because they hold the purse strings, and right now they are against the war and charging 14% (or whatever) for the government to borrow during wartime. (traitors) In a long term war of attrition, it's money that matters. Europe has trillions and a much greater population, so over time they figure they can out purchase Russia to death. This is a war of rules, red lines for Russia, but not the West who changed the rules of the game and put Putin is in a corner. "We hold your civilian population hostage." As an Oligarch, the deal to do is make his Jewish Oligarchs happy by doing a deal with Chabad Lubavitch (Witcoff and Kushner) so that he is back in concert with the WEF Reset Plan in support of Israel during the End of Times Psyop (which is real). That is, F the average Russian, and it seems the average Russians interests are the same as mine - To get out from under the Techno-Epstein class of Satan Worshipers, Nazis, Bio-terrorists, and Cannibals currently leading us to hell. I don't think Putin is going to solve our mutual problem. Maybe he is one of them...

Apparently Russ has a new general who will be more determined and regain deterrence, but perhaps we put too much faith in Putin. Who is winning is a matter of perception, and Putin looks like a boxer who would like to negotiate with his opponent rather than fight. Yah, things could get out of hand real fast, but Russ needs to strike hard. I heard the Russ had anti-air missile batteries in Iran, then the Chinese, but I guess not, or they are awfully ineffective.
