I just read this whole document....the misspelling of the names of "adversaries" alone was shocking. If you have screeched "Assad must go!!" for over a decade, you'd think they would know its not spelled "Asad". They also spelled Houthi as "huthi" - is that some alternate spelling I've never seen before? At least there were some realities regarding China acknowledged & a bit more insight into the Greenland game. But their assessment of AQ/ISIS/Syria....I can't figure out if they are that out of touch or being coy. Any AQ that may have been in Iran (those rumours are out there & have been for a while) have been long gone since Haniyeh was killed. Afghanistan? Pointedly ignored. That was a depressing read with a shocking lack of strategic thinking. I hope that was BS/dumbed-down for public consumption & the classified version is not based on these conclusions.
