Sy Hersh is out with a sad new article — Inside Trump and Netanyahu’s Meeting on Iran — that contains three ridiculous, nonsensical paragraphs, which were fed to him by one of his sources.
Sadly there are many who spread propaganda and lies. The remark by Mr. Hersh that Iranian missiles are capable of hitting targets in next-to-defenseless Southeastern Europe obviously is meant to scare people, and create hatred for Iran. Hersh should be ashamed of himself.

2. Iran now on Invisible Data Eco System since June 2025 war.

6. China gave Iran access to their military grade encryption data link. Specialized, secure, and jam-resistant communication systems.

The Chinese intelligence ship intrigued me. At defensemirror.com, I read that "The ship is China’s first modern comprehensive ocean-going scientific research vessel, and is equipped with advanced ocean floor imaging systems for real-time seabed mapping. It monitors abnormal marine sounds and features satellite communication and wireless internet access." Ocean No.1 has four remotely-operated underwater vehicles. It has been mapping the ocean bed and doing research in the northern Indian Ocean since Dec.19, 2025. Two destroyers accompany the ship.
If the US attacks Iran, and Ocean No.1 locates a US or Israeli submarine, the two destroyers can deploy torpedoes or mines to vanquish the subs...am I correct?
Hmmm. Scott Ritter has said that the US has enough military power and resources to obliterate Iran and tht Iranian authorities are hesitating and could lose out. He would recommend pre-emptive strikes by Iran, given the huge US threat in the gulf. The negotiations are fake and meant to deceive Iran, like last summer. Never trust the US admin.
I wrote to Sy some time ago questioning his parroting of certain security/government sources, without questioning the obvious misdirection and or lies. Got nowt in response. Sadly, he’s become a parody of himself, or worse a willing idiot of the Neo-cons.

China gets oil from Iran, is heavily invested there, and Iran central to BRICS, Belt and Road. They all fall down if Iran loses. I hear Xi fired 3 Generals who were hesitant to fight US and took over himself. Xi will go nuke as China does not have the Western hesitancy to hold the kill shot. Prep fast and don't ride any elevators. Russia, China, and Iran are doing naval exercises. You think China and Russia will run while Iran engages. There will be multiple ships and carriers sunk, and if you are going to sink a US carrier, might as well go nuclear. Pre-emptive attack?
But Houston - WE HAVE A PROBLEM! Scott Ritter exposed a serious weakness in Iran = internal intel secret service. Who were 100,000 Starlink terminals dropped off in Dec/25 for?
Scott asked the *KEY* question - *IF* Iran intel captured 20,000 terrorists, who/where are the 80,000? They were told to stay hidden until AFTER USA BOMBED - which has not happened yet.
Scott reminded us that when USA bombed Syria and killed the army - white trucks appeared with armed terrorists to patrol the streets and take over the government.
perhaps the 80,000 is a musk exaggeration or straight out lie? Why would they have reserved any assets if they thought (as their military prep suggests) this was the time? I do think some army of mercenaries has been assembled in Azerbaijian to invade, but Russia and China (Uighur terrorism is over) demonstrate how to wrap up these networks, and they helped Iran and they continue to help. Scott has an admitted (marine) bias. He is still mostly correct, but one has to consider the bias in assessing his analysis.

I realize that the answer to our questions is 'we shall see'.
If the US--and possibly Israel--attack Iran, I think that the nations already providing aid to Iran would not run away from their partner.
