I would be equally upset about the bridge bombing while a civilian passenger train was under it. I think it a bigger outrage than the bombing of the aircraft.
This particular situation reminds me of the Kosovo War 12 April 1999 attack on a bridge in Grdelica while a passenger train was crossing it. NATO said it was a unfortunate circumstance.
How insensitive to say that a violent attack that caused any number of innocent live and injuries is "unfortunate"!
Pres.Putin well remember the lives of Russians assassinated, massacred, and shot in non-military circumstances. His retribution will not only be for the attack on the nation's defense system, but also for the innocents killed by Ukraine in the past years.
I agree with Larry that the drone attacks on the Russians' nuclear defenses IS a big deal.
I think that Russia will respond big-time. Gloves are off--terrorists must be dealt with decisively.
