Trump is revealing how compromised the whole Washington Swamp is by blatantly doing a 180. He didn't say it could not be released for national security reasons he said it doesn't exist. Now everyone will go.. .uugh!.

Maybe he should have said he lost it and will ask Bibi/Mossad for a copy.

Great independent journalism. We should all be very grateful to people like Larry J and Ryan, and many others who have exposed the corruption in the world today. We are all with you on this.

In short, a not-so-thorough investigation has the probability of rendering the political and financial elites shaken up, government institutions belly up (like the SCOTUS), etc. That may be a morally correct move, but the investigation can easily lead to a regime change, if not a new constitution. Similar scenarios are repeated in many Japanese TV police dramas. Except it is much worse in Japan, according to the TV drama. A high-level official in a ministry, not even the minister himself, has enough clout to close down an investigation or destroy all collected evidence.

I claim similar things have always happened in the past, and will happen in the future. Instead of asking Trump to push for an investigation, I wish I could force him to sweep out foreign moles in his government. Mike Waltz is certainly not the only one. Even if Ronald Reagan were the POTUS today, I don't think he would dare to dig up the can of worms. We need a JFK or Eisenhower kind of POTUS to deal with this Epstein problem. If we don't have a surgeon who can sew up the patient after the surgery, it is better not to open up the belly of patient.

I think regime change is likely in line with Strauus & Howe Fourth Turning where old systems are torn down and new ones rebuilt. It's coming.......

So the issue is how strong the grassroots MAGA base can assert on Trump. For now, I don't see the needed strength. There needs to be some other trigger events.

The surgery must be done regardless, when the patient is full of worms.

Yes. It is always a hard choice between a tough surgery with only a small chance of success and a hospice service.

I doesn't really make any difference to his Presidency doe's it? He can't run for a third term, if I

understand US politics correctly.

Well...some of it.
